It was a memory etched in time, from when I was just eleven. My grandmother led me to a quiet clearing in the woods behind her house, a place shimmering with untold stories. With a gentle hand, she revealed I possessed a gift – a truth I felt deep in my young heart. She spoke of this clearing as sacred, a legacy passed down from her own mother, and asked if I was ready to learn its secrets. My 'yes' was immediate. She then placed a broom in my hands, to sweep the ground pure, and so, my lessons began. Decades later, that sacred patch of earth now lies within my own backyard. For over thirty years, it's where I've continued the tradition of performing earth spells by James beneath the night sky.
